王威,男,41岁,现任南开大学研究员、博士生导师,“分子微生物学与技术教育部重点实验室”、“微生物组学研究与分子进化长江学者创新团队”及“天津市微生物功能基因组学重点实验室”的骨干成员和PI。南开大学生物化学与分子生物学学士(2000年)、微生物学博士(2006年),香港科技大学生物学博士后及访问学者(2008-2010年)。入选2014年南京领军型科技人才计划、2015年天津市经济技术开发区高级人才、2016年天津滨海新区双创领军人才。主要研究领域为环境和工业微生物、微生物基因组学和功能基因组学,研究方向包括微生物遗传与进化,环境、石油和工业微生物的资源化应用,应用微生物技术,工业酶的改造和应用等。

先后主持973子课题1项、国家自然科学基金5项、天津市科技计划重大专项1项和自然科学基金重点项目2项、其它省部级及横向项目3项,参与863等其它科技专项等近10项。近年来在Nature、PNAS、Bioresource Technology、Food Chemistry等国际著名SCI期刊发表论文40余篇,总影响因子近200,被引次数超过1000次。获得国际发明专利2项、国内发明专利27项、实用新型专利10项。曾获2007年度“中国高校十大科技进展”和“天津市自然科学奖一等奖”等奖励。其中,作为共同第一作者2007年发表于PNAS的研究成果,是石油微生物研究领域的重大突破,对于石油污染的生物治理和微生物采油技术的革新具有重要意义,产生较大国际影响。作为主要完成人之一参与重大国际合作项目“木瓜基因组计划”,完成首个转基因植物的基因组破译,成果发表于2008年Nature封面文章;2014年作为第一和通讯作者发表于Scientific Reports的研究成果,首次揭示了一种具有重要应用价值的新型生物酶热稳定性机制,;2019年作为通讯作者发表在Bioresource Technology的研究成果首次揭示了高温石油菌的生物脱氮途径。首创生物炼化技术应用于石油化工领域,可有效替代传统技术,具备经济、环保等多方面效益。初步实现“清洁燃料油”和“生物乳化油”两项技术成果转化,与中石油、中海油和中船燃等国企开展合作,推进工业化应用。
